Fundraising

Even a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.

For our journey, that step was taken early in 2009 when we went to test ride a couple of bikes, ate some lunch and then sat and chatted about doing some overseas travel on motorcycles.  Now here we are 10 months later and we’re leaving in less than 2 months.

So much of life can be changed by small steps which lead to life changing outcomes.  Cancer research could be described as a series of such steps, undertaken by dedicated and skilled people who create life changing outcomes for the rest of us.

We didn't start our journey with the intention of doing something so noble as fundraising, but our trip has gathered momentum and it now seems like a chance to do something positive so here we are.  So many of our friends and family have been affected by cancer in one way or another, so it’s a natural cause for us to support.

If you click on the image or link below it will take you to our fundraising page where you can donate to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, please be sure to leave us a message so we can say thanks personally.

We’ve set a target to raise $5000, which might be a little ambitious, but then so is traversing 40,000km across 27 countries in 6 months!

Thank you for your support.

Cancer Research

Donkey and the Mule

It's a 40,000km overland journey by two brothers on KTM motorcycles. Self funded travelling across 4 continents and 27 countries.

Please support our journey by donating to our cause.

Our goal is to ride across 27 countries and to raise over $5000 for cancer research.

We are self supported in our mission, and ask for our friends and supporters to contribute to research that can help all of humanity.
